<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the assemblability of a liquid crystal display unit. <P>SOLUTION: A holder 40 for a display element is fixed to a circuit board 10 and holds an LCD element 20 on the circuit board 10 while each terminal 24 thereof is inserted into a terminal hole 14. The holder 40 includes: an element holder, such as a locking claw 51 which holds an element body 22 of the LCD element 20; and a terminal guide 52 which is positioned closer to the circuit board 10 than the element holder and used for guiding each terminal 24 of the LDC element 20 to the terminal hole 14. The terminal guide 52 includes: a plurality of guide holes which have a hole diameter enabling each terminal 24 passing through the circuit board 10 side while maintaining the arrangement thereof and include induction parts of the terminals 24; and a guide groove which is positioned closer to the element holder than the guide hole and guides each terminal 24 to the guide hole. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
