<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in positioning accuracy with the increase in the number of wireless tags in a positioning area. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning device 100 includes: a tag positioning part 102; a camera positioning part 105; a fusion part 103 integrating the positioning results of the tag positioning part 102 and the camera positioning part 105; and a tag suppression part 108 suppressing communications with some wireless tags when the number of wireless tags in a positioning area AR0 is equal to or more than a prescribed number.
