<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus suppressing oscillation in position correction amount. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a plurality of photoreceptor drums 2; an intermediate transfer belt 1 provided with information for a first image position; an exposure means 4 for recording information for a second image position on the photoreceptor drums 2; a first reading means 5 equipped on the intermediate transfer belt 1 for reading the information for the first image position 53; a second reading means 6 for reading the information for the second image position 52 that is recorded on the photoreceptor drum 2; a calculation means 101 for the amount of position correction to carry out calculation of the amount of position correction so that the positions match with each other at a transfer position from the shifting in positions between the information for the first image position 53 and the information for the second image position 52; a driving control means 102 for controlling the rotational speed of a driving motor for a photoreceptor drum 12 according to the calculated amount of the position correction. In this case, an exposure position correction means 103 is included for correcting an exposure position so that the exposure position makes the intervals in exposures in the rotating direction of the photoreceptor drum 2 to constant according to the calculated amount of the position correction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
