<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency counter for counting a frequency more accurately, and to provide a count method for the frequency counter. <P>SOLUTION: The frequency counter includes a count time measurement circuit 2 for measuring a fixed period from a basic clock, a zero cross alternate confirmation circuit 7 for confirming whether a zero-cross pulse of an I signal and that of a Q signal are inputted and both of them occur alternately, a frequency count circuit 3 for counting only when both of the zero cross pulses of the I and Q signals occur alternately, and a frequency operation circuit 4 for outputting a value counted by the frequency count circuit 3 within a fixed period measured by the count time measurement circuit 2 as an IF frequency measurement value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
