<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength selection switch capable of expanding a transmission band without changing a beam diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The wavelength selection switch (500) includes: at least one input part (501) for making wavelength-multiplexed light be incident; a dispersion element (503) for receiving light from the input part (501) and dispersing the light; a condensing element (504) for condensing dispersed light dispersed by wavelength; a light deflection member (505) provided with a plurality of reflective optical elements (101) capable of deflecting the dispersed light from the condensing element (504) independently by wavelength; and at least one output part (501) for receiving the dispersed light deflected by the light deflection member (505).
