PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a nonuniform error is generated between the shape of resin after a curing process and the shape of the molding die, that is, the shape error is small at one part but is large at another part in a resin layer. SOLUTION: The hybrid optical element 10 includes: a glass base material 1 having a first optically functional surface 11 and a second optically functional surface 16; and a resin layer 2 bonded to the second optically functional surface 16. The glass base material 1 further has an outer peripheral surface 14 provided around the first optically functional surface 11.
