PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-button type of key switch that actualizes a complete wrong-operation prevention function. SOLUTION: The key switch comprises: a key top 31; a base 14 that has contact switch 11 at a position corresponding to the key top 31; a table-like shape elastic body 21 with the contact switch 11 being placed on the base 14 in such a manner as for it to cover up the base 14, which undergoes elastic deformation upon pressing down from the key top 31, the table-like shape elastic body 21 having a protrusion (21b, 21c, 21d) at a part of the end section of the table 21a.
