PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of improving the flexibility of setting a conversion speed in an A/D converter. SOLUTION: The electronic balance 1 includes a load cell 11, a sample hold circuit 13, and an A/D converter 15. The load cell 11 intermittently generates and outputs a load signal corresponding to the load which the cell itself receives. The sample hold circuit 13 holds a load signal intermittently output from the load cell 11 and outputs a continuous load signal.
