PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binder composition for a capacitor electrode material that has high binding properties, is electrochemically and thermally stable and is excellent in handleability and safety with low skin irritation characteristics. SOLUTION: An aromatic polyamide solution including an aromatic polyamide and aβ-alkoxypropionamide solvent is prepared and a binder for a polarizable electrode for a capacitor is produced from the solution.
