PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control system capable of synchronizing the screen controls of a touch panel of a remote controller and digital broadcasting receiver as well as eliminating a screen resolution difference between the touch panel of the remote controller and the digital broadcasting receiver, and further provide the digital broadcasting receiver, the remote controller and a remote control method. SOLUTION: The remote control system includes a server for communicating with each of the remote controller and the digital broadcasting receiver. The remote controller and the digital broadcasting receiver have a loader, an interpreter, and a controller for performing Script that absorbs the resolution difference in which a control content existing in the server has been described. Further, the screens of both the remote controller and the digital broadcasting receiver are synchronized with each other by exchanging ACK for indicating the reception of a key through the intermediation of the server between the remote controller and the digital broadcasting receiver both of which independently operate.
