PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coke treatment system and a coke treatment method, which can finely improve the strength of coke in both a low temperature environment and high temperature environment. SOLUTION: A coke coating device (solution spraying device 3) for coating the coke using an aqueous solution 6 containing a thermosetting resin or an organic compound other than a thermosetting resin is disposed. By coating the coke with the aqueous solution containing the thermosetting resin or the organic compound other than the thermosetting resin, without changing the mixture constitution of coal, coke powdering can be prevented. Especially, by the use of the thermosetting resin, the strength of the coke under a high temperature environment can be finely improved, and coke powdering in a blast furnace can be effectively prevented. Meanwhile, by the use of the organic compound other than the thermosetting resin, the strength of the coke under a low temperature atmosphere can be also finely improved, and coke powdering before the supply to the blast furnace can be suppressed effectively.
