摘要 Ground stations (20, 21) receive an optional signal transmitted from a geostationary artificial satellite (10) and accumulate the received signal with the receiving times thereof. Correlation processing between the received signal by the ground station (20) and that by the ground station (21) is performed, thereby calculating a difference (?t) between the receiving times of the same signal by the ground station (20) and the ground station (21). Meanwhile, a distance measurement device measures a distance (R20) between the ground station (20) and the geostationary artificial satellite (10). Then, the distance (R21) between the ground station (21) and the geostationary artificial satellite (10) is calculated on the basis of the distance (R20) obtained by the measurement and the difference (?t) between the receiving times obtained by the correlation processing.
