<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide amorphous paramylon which is obtained by amorphousizing paramylon of a crystalline state and has enhanced useful effect than that of paramylon of the crystalline state. <P>SOLUTION: The amorphous paramylon is derived from Euglena, namely, is obtained by amorphousizing crystalline paramylon derived from Euglena and has ≤20% relative crystallinity to the crystallinity of the crystalline paramylon when measured by an X-ray diffraction method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
