<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a connector enabling confirmation of connection in a minimum work area without entailing shape change in the radial direction during pipe connection and removal. <P>SOLUTION: By both engagement sections 18D of a wire 18 moving along an oblique section 50B of a slit 50 from a locking section 50C to a lock section 50A or the vicinity of the lock section 50A, a ring 16 moves along the axial direction of a pipe insertion section 14A from a standby position to a lock-completion position, and the lock sections 18A of the wire 18 approach each other, the lock sections 18A of the wire 18 switching to a locked state that regulates motion in the direction of dislocation of the flange section 12A of a pipe 12. In this way, by the ring 16 provided to the outer periphery of the pipe insertion section 14A of a housing 14 moving in the axial direction of the pipe insertion section 14A, the ring 16 can be in a standby position and a lock-completion position, and when the ring 16 is put in the standby position, the connector 10 does not enlarge in the radial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
