<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit cell for a solid oxide fuel battery and a solid oxide battery improving output and efficiency while preventing damage to the unit cell. <P>SOLUTION: This unit cell is provided with a collector layer 14 composed of a mixture of LaNi<SB>x</SB>Fe<SB>1-x</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(LNF) and LaCoO<SB>3</SB>(LC) on an air electrode 13 containing LaNi<SB>x</SB>Fe<SB>1-x</SB>O<SB>3</SB>(0<x<1). Thus, output and efficiency can be improved since contact resistance between the unit cell 11 and a separator can be reduced while maintaining moderate permeability of oxidant gas because LC has good electron conductivity and oxygen ion conductivity and LNF has good gas permeability. Furthermore, by adopting the composition above, the unit cell can be prevented from being damaged since the heat expansion coefficient is made equivalent to that of composing material of the solid oxide fuel battery such as the separator. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
