PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding machine which is provided with two or more welding guns on a flat plate-like electrode and performs spot welding and which has no explosive fire, is safe and has good operability. SOLUTION: In a spot welding machine, an upper electrode erected on the flat plate-like electrode 30 where an object to be welded is mounted is constituted of a plurality of the welding guns 2, 3. Primarily, a large object to be welded of a frame shape is welded by using one welding gun 2 with a horizontal attitude and another welding gun 3 with a vertical attitude. A power supply apparatus 4 having a piston cylinder mechanism is provided at the power supply route of each welding gun and contact/separation of a pressing power supply body with/from a power receiving plate energizes only the predetermined welding gun.
