PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in memory capacity required for storing an instruction to supply configuration data to a DRC at a high speed. SOLUTION: The data processing system includes a processor 11 for executing processing in accordance with a fetched instruction, and a DRC 12 dynamically reconfiguring a circuit configuration in accordance with the configuration data. When the processor fetches the instruction, a configuration data decoder 19 determines whether the instruction is the configuration data instruction or not. The configuration data are read from a configuration data memory 18 storing the configuration data to be supplied to the DRC, based on address information of the configuration data instruction, when the instruction is the configuration data instruction.
