PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an information processor capable of stopping an operation of a predetermined device based on vibration detection even before OS startup. SOLUTION: A start-up propriety discrimination unit discriminates the propriety of startup of an OS based on a detection signal of a sensor (step S4). If the startup propriety discrimination unit has discriminated that startup is not possible (No in step S5), an OS startup processing unit does not perform OS startup processing. If the startup propriety discrimination unit has determined that startup is possible (Yes in step S5), the OS startup processing unit performs OS startup processing. Accordingly, the CPU does not access a hard disk as a storage device storing the OS in the state where vibration is generated, so that occurrence of inconvenience due to an operation of the hard disk in the state where vibration is generated.
