PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle surroundings display device automatically displaying a vehicle surroundings image matching a driver's intention. SOLUTION: The face of the driver 7 is photographed by an infrared camera 2, and the direction the driver 7 watches is determined. Also, when the determined direction the driver 7 watches is within a photographing range of a CCD camera group 1, the vehicle surroundings image photographed by a corresponding CCD camera is automatically displayed on a monitor 6.
