Method and hearing aid for recognising and suppressing feedback from a directional microphone

The method involves electrically connecting two omni-directional microphones (35, 36) of a hearing device (30) with each other, so that a signal (41) with a directional effect is formed, where the omni-directional microphones emit microphone signals. The directional effect of the signal is adjusted such that an acoustic feedback in the signal is maximized. The signal is analyzed through a detection unit (37) of the hearing device to define the acoustic feedback. An independent claim is also included for a hearing device comprising a detection unit.
