It is aimed to facilitate fabricating of a three-dimensional warp knitted fabric having varied cross-sections, in which a dimension between the front and rear webs and/or convexo-concave patterns on surfaces of the front and rear webs are varied in knitting direction. A double-raschel machine comprised mechanism (11a, 11b; 13a, 13b; 17a, 17b) for moving front and rear intermediate frames (4a, 4b; 5a, 5b) supporting front and rear knitting needles (1a, 1b); controlling unit for controlling the moving of said mechanism for moving, separately between front and rear side; and a plurality of yarn guide bars (18). On proceeding of the knitting, positions and/or an interval of the front and rear knitting needles (1a, 1b) are varied while forming the front and rear webs (a1, a2) and connecting them by connecting yarns. |
