A touch panel (suitable for capacitive touch sensing) includes first electrode patterns (111) being serially connected by first connection patterns (121); second electrode patterns (112) being serially connected by second connection patterns (114) and routing lines (141, 151); wherein at least two of the first electrode patterns are connected to at least one of the routing lines. The sensitivity of the touch panel may thereby be increased. A touch panel having redundancy patterns (116, 115) connecting an electrode pattern of a first series of first electrodes with an electrode pattern of a second series of first electrodes is also claimed. Line failure due to static electricity can thereby be avoided. |
