The circuit has gain networks (400, 401) with radiofrequency detectors (402, 403) that are arranged to dissipate the power of radiofrequency signals reflected by band-pass filters (408, 413) of an output multiplexer. The detectors have a generating unit for generating an alarm signal representing the power level of the reflected signals, where the alarm signal is utilized to control the gain of variable-gain amplifiers (404, 409) e.g. traveling wave tube amplifiers, of the networks. |
