<p>The roof trim has a trim strip (4) with a positioning aid provided at a preset position for fixing the trim strip at a position relative to a body of a motor vehicle in an assembled condition. A balancing profile (11), a clip retainer and fastening clips are arranged at another position for adjusting an offset between the trim strip and the vehicle body in a longitudinal direction of the trim strip. The offset is produced by change of length of the trim strip and the vehicle body, and an outer shell (6) and an inner strip are made of plastic.</p>
