The device has two half-bridges, each with 2 controlable semiconducting switches and 2 diodes as well as a capacitor connected between the half-bridges and at least one further half-bridge. One (11) half-bridge is connected to a common point to the load(s) (LAST1) and supply, one (10) is connected only to the supply and others (12,13) to only one load. The capacitor (C1) is connected to the common connection point of all half-bridges.
