A die for use in molding, from a molding material, a lens array including a substrate part (1) and a plurality of lens parts (10) arranged in the substrate part, includes: a die member (102,104) having a die face to be brought into contact with the molding material. The die member includes: a plurality of lens transferring parts (102a,104a) provided on the die face for transferring shapes of the lens parts; and a releasing part (103) formed in at least a part of the die face excluding the lens transferring parts.
