FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in selecting shell with expired storage term, or that with 2nd or 3rd category of technical state, knocking it down into components, one hundred percent inspection of all components, reconditioning of metal components suitable for further use, replacing unsuitable components, reconditioning monoblock of hitting elements, adding hitting elements binder, non-uniform heating and cooling of steel mould and shell assembly.
