FIELD: electricity. ^ SUBSTANCE: filtering capacitor is connected to outputs of DC source. Switching capacitor is connected by means of top cover to positive sign of DC source and by means of bottom cover through charging choke to anode of charging thyristor the cathode of which is connected to negative sign of the above source. Switching thyristor is connected by means of cathode to bottom cover of switching capacitor and charging throttle and by means of anode to anode of power thyristor. Switching thyristor is connected with one end to positive sign of the above source and with the other end to anodes of power and switching thyristor. Positive sign of current source is connected to the second contact tip through which welding current is supplied at pause to electrode wire. Section of electrode wire between contact tips is connected parallel to switching throttle, power thyristor and throttle. Device implements welding with controlled transfer of electrode metal. ^ EFFECT: high efficiency owing to use of heat released as a result of current limitation of the pause for melting and pre-heating of extension of electrode wire, which will allow reducing heat inputs to weld joint. ^ 1 dwg |
