The present invention refers to a device for being aware, by means of an irreversible rezasurin change of colour, of the microbial pollution degree contained in biological products at a specific moment of the cold chain. The device comprises a container with two absorbent materials, one of them being impregnated with bacteria and having an optimum growing temperature of from about 25°C to about 37°C; the remaining material is impregnated with a rezasurin solution; also includes a distilled or sterilised water blister.
