PURPOSE: A satellite tracking method and an apparatus thereof are provided to calculate optimal position by applying a weighting factor to a plurality of distance measurement values. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of tracker modules(30) generates a correlation value through an integration operation of different integral time unit based on a satellite signal received from a satellite. A plurality of tracking loops(40) generates a SNR(Signal to Noise Ratio) about a distance measurement value between the satellite and the satellite tracking apparatus, and a satellite signal. A position calculator(50) sets a weighted values based on SNRs, applies the weights to the distance measurement values, and calculates the location of the satellite tracking apparatus. |
