The recombinator (10) has a gas-tight housing (20) and a catalyst arranged in it. The recombinator has a negative pressure relief valve (38) and connects to interior (26) gas densities of the housing as well as a relief valve which is fluidically connected to the environment. The interior gas densities of the housing connect with the environment. The relief valve and or the negative pressure relief valve are fluidically connected by an ignition protection to the environment.
