PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet image forming device capable of obtaining high quality images with less feathering, bleeding, or beading and with image density in ordinary paper at high speed without using reaction liquid or processing liquid. SOLUTION: The inkjet image forming device 1 has a recording head 26 with a nozzle 28 for discharging recording liquid i according image signals, an intermediate transferring body 21 which is oppositely arranged having a predetermined gap from the recording head and on which ink images are made with the recording liquid discharged from the recording head, a voltage applying means 41 for applying voltage between the recording head and the intermediate transferring body, the recording liquid is a water soluble and electroconductive recording liquid including at least a colorant component, a resin component, a wetting agent component, an electrolyte component, and water, the voltage is applied to a liquid column bridge 51 temporarily formed between the recording head ant the intermediate transferring body with the recording liquid discharged from the recording head from the voltage applying means.
