PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new long-distance pipe jacking method which enables long-distance pipe jacking to be performed by using a synthetic resin jacked pipe such as a polyvinyl chloride jacked pipe for a conventional low loading capacity system without fear about problems associated with corrosion in the case of a reinforced concrete jacked pipe, or the use of an expensive resin jacked pipe. SOLUTION: In this long-distance pipe jacking method for low loading capacity propulsion system, in which a jacked pipe material for use in the low loading capacity propulsion system is the jacked pipe, which is supported by providing a jacked pipe supporting member in an inner unit for transferring a pipe jacking force from a base-pushing jack, each time a required number of jacked pipes are provided, so that the peripheral friction resistance between the jacked pipe and natural ground may be kept below the allowable loading capacity of the jacked pipe.
