PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concrete joint board which is superior in drying/shrinkage resistance, can relax a swelling pressure by elastic force of the concrete joint board even when a concrete structure matrix swells by a predetermined amount, and is free of deformation, such as bending, even when a concrete matrix is placed after installing the concrete joint boards in a form at predetermined intervals, and a method of installing the concrete joint board. SOLUTION: The concrete joint board made of polymer cement mortar formed by containing a polymer dispersion and/or a re-emulsified powder resin having a glass transition temperature of -50 to -20°C so that a mass ratio of polymer solid to a cement mortar inorganic powder is≥5% and <30%, and contains a mesh fiber sheet having a rate of length change in water, specified by JIS A 1129, of 10×10<SP>-4</SP>-200×10<SP>-4</SP>and preferably having a mesh porosity of 50-80% and a mesh aperture of≤2 mm.
