PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve convenience of an operator performing the operation of selecting a photographing menu according to the number of cassettes to be used in a radiation image photographing device. SOLUTION: A detection part 40 detects which of cables 50A-50C the cassettes 20A-20C are connected to. In a storage part 38, the correspondence relation of the number of the connected cassettes and the photographing menu is stored. A display control part 42 refers to the correspondence relation, determines the photographing menu to be displayed, and displays the determined display menu on a monitor 36A.
