PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible coupling normally and reversely rotatable without causing buckling of a plate spring and easily machined and connected to a transmission shaft. SOLUTION: The flexible coupling 1 includes a first hub 10 having a hub body 11 and a torque transmission body 15, and a second hub 30. The torque transmission body 15 includes a plurality of wide projections 16 axially projected from the front end at spaces in the circumferential direction of the hub body; a plurality of narrow projections 20 located between the circumferentially adjacent wide projections 16 and axially projected; and the plate springs 24 extending along a circumferential direction from the side faces on both sides of each narrow projection and connected to the side faces of the wide projections. Circular clearances 26 are formed penetrating the wide projections and plate springs axially along the cylindrical surface of the hub body between the circumferentially adjacent wide projections of the hub body, and the first hub and the second hub abut each other at the front face of each wide projection and the front face of each narrow projection and are connected by bolts 48.
