A golf ball has moisture resistant layer comprising a blend of at least one ionomer and hydrophobic thermoplastic polyurethane. The moisture resistant layer may be part of the cover layer, for example an inner layer of a two-layer cover layer. The moisture resistant layer may be an intermediate layer between the core and the cover.
