<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium using an organic dye material for recording/reproducing data using light of ≤620 nm wavelength, and to provide a recording method and a recording device using the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: Light absorbing ratio of light having a wavelength shorter than 620 nm is considerably reduced to reduce recording sensitivity, due to the influence of absorption spectral characteristics of a general organic dye material. By using an L to H organic dye recording material whose reflectance increases in a recorded part (recording marks) more than a non-recorded part, the recording marks are formed using decoloration action by separation of an electronic coupling to eliminate the necessity of substrate deformation, thereby increasing recording sensitivity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
