<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress occurrence of color deviation and occurrence of color unevenness. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting device 100 includes an LED chip 1 configured to emit light of a specified wavelength and a condenser lens 3 on which light of the LED chip 1 is incident, wherein a recess 32 where the LED chip 1 is stored is formed in a light incident surface 31 of the condenser lens 3, and a phosphor layer 4 having ceramics and a phosphor is formed on a bottom part and a side part of the recess 32. The difference in phosphor concentration in the phosphor layer 4 between the bottom part and side part of the recess 32 is ≤±10 mass%, and the ratio of thicknesses of the phosphor layer 4 satisfies the relation of 0.5≤(side part/bottom part)≤2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
