<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To naturally emphasize a stereoscopic effect of an in-plane shape of a target object. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing method includes at least a frequency decomposition means for performing spatial frequency decomposition on a spatial frequency component of a two-dimensional image to calculate a frequency component, a parallax amount specification means for specifying a parallax amount which is given to a three-dimensional image, a parallax amount assignment means for assigning a parallax amount to the frequency component obtained by the decomposition, a frequency combination means for combining the frequency components obtained by the parallax amount assignment means, and an image output means for outputting a left-eye image and a right-eye image which allow binocular stereopsis from the result obtained by the frequency combination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
