摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an electrophotographic image by which generation of toner scattering is suppressed and thereby, a visible image with high picture quality can be formed while suppressing generation of image noise. <P>SOLUTION: The method for forming an electrophotographic image includes: a toner image forming step of forming an electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrier by exposing a uniformly charged electrostatic latent image carrier surface by a spot beam, and forming a toner image by developing the electrostatic latent image formed on the electrostatic latent image carrier with a toner in an inversion developing process; and a fixed image forming step of transferring the toner image formed in the toner image forming step onto an image support and obtaining a fixed image by fixing the transferred toner image by use of a fixing means. The method is characterized in that the diameter of a latent image spot constituting the electrostatic latent image formed on the electrostatic latent image carrier is from 16 to 36 &mu;m, and the toner used has a number-basis median diameter (D50) of 16 to 40 &mu;m. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
