<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring the amount of moisture capable of precisely quantifying the amount of moisture in a hydrogen fluoride-containing compound. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen fluoride-containing compound represented by a general formula: XF*nHF (where X is either one of K, NH<SB>4</SB>, Na and Li and n is a rational member of n>0) is decomposed by heating and the amount of the moisture in the produced gas is quantified to calculate the amount of the moisture in the hydrogen fluoride-containing compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
