<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To release a parking brake state by a comparatively small amount of manual operation in an electric brake device for a vehicle including a disc brake, an electric motor detachably attached to a caliper body, a motion converting mechanism moving a friction pad forward and backward with respect to a disc rotor in response to rotation of a rotary shaft, and a reduction gear having an output member connected to the rotary shaft so as to not relatively rotate and provided between the electric motor and the rotary shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A speed reduction chamber 59 opened when removed from the caliper body 26 of the electric motor 22A is formed between the caliper body 26 and the electric motor 22A, and the reduction gear 23A capable of being engaged with a rotation tool and having the output member 70 fixed to the rotary shaft 45 is housed in the speed reduction chamber 59 in a state of allowing disassembly leaving the output member 70 fixed to the rotary shaft 45 at opening of the speed reduction chamber 59. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
