PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out compactification while facilitating assembling work and facilitating machining of a second sun gear in a two-stage planetary gear type reduction gear comprised by providing first and second planetary gear mechanisms between an input shaft and an output shaft, and housed in a gear case. SOLUTION: The first planetary gear mechanism 61 includes a first sun gear 63 provided on the input shaft 95, a ring gear 64 fixed to the gear case 60A, and a first carrier 66 rotatably supporting a first planetary gear 65 interlocking with the ring gear 64 and the first sun gear 63. The second planetary gear mechanism 62A includes the second sun gear 67 with an outer periphery interlocked with an inner periphery of the first carrier 66, a ring gear 64, and a second carrier 69A rotatably supporting a second planetary gear 68 interlocking with the ring gear 64 and the second sun gear 67.
