Disclosed is a spring unit provided with sinuous springs (40A, 40B), a first sliding member (20A), and a second sliding member (30A). The first sliding member (20A) is provided with first spring engagement sections (22) to which one end (40a) of the sinuous springs (40A, 40B) engages, first spring housing sections (28A, 28B) which are mounted with the sinuous springs (40A, 40B), and first sliding guide sections (25) which are formed on both sides of the first sliding member (20A). The second sliding member (30A) is provided with second spring engagement sections (32) to which the other end of the sinuous springs (40A, 40B) engages, second spring housing sections (36A, 36B) which are mounted with the sinuous springs (40A, 40B), and second sliding guide sections (35) which are formed on both sides of the first sliding member (30A). Each sliding member (20A, 30A) is configured to slide relative to each other as the first and second sliding sections (25, 35) engage. Moreover, the sinuous springs (40A, 40B) are held within a space formed by each spring housing section (28A, 28B, 36A, and 36B) that faces each other. |
