摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve printing characteristics by contriving the order of a series of discharge and curing processes to a plurality of ink compositions. <P>SOLUTION: The printing method includes a step in which a first ink composition containing a first coloring material, a first polymerizable compound and a first photoinitiator, and a second ink composition containing a second coloring material, a second polymerizable compound and a second photoinitiator, are discharged to the surface of a recording medium, and cured by exposure to light. The photocuring performance of the first ink composition is higher than that of the second ink composition, and the printing method further includes a step in which the first ink composition is discharged and irradiated with light, so that the first ink composition can be cured, then the second ink composition can be discharged and irradiated with light, and the second ink composition is cured. Thus the ink compositions are discharged in descending order of photocuring performance and are cured.
