PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device having a translucent panel member attached on the front surface of a casing, which improves the resin moldability of the translucent member to suppress a weld line generated in the translucent panel member. SOLUTION: In the electronic device, an optical element 6 is arranged inside the casing 1, a translucent panel member 3 is mounted on the front surface of the casing 1, and the translucent panel member 3 includes a translucent part 31 for guiding a light beam into the optical element 6 or transmitting a light beam emitted from the optical element 6. In this case, the translucent part 31 of the translucent panel member 3 includes a thin wall part having a smaller thickness than an average thickness of the translucent panel member 3.
