摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve impact resistance and a resonance frequency while improving a micro motion characteristics of a magnetic head suspension which enables a magnetic head slider to perform micro motion by a piezoelectric element. SOLUTION: As a virtual straight line connecting center points of a proximal end portion and a distal end portion of a coupling beam 14 comes close to a distal end side, the virtual straight line approaches a longitudinal-direction center line of a suspension. The coupling beam 14 has a proximal end side beam 141, a distal end side beam 142, and an intermediate beam 143. The coupling beam is bent at the coupling point of the proximal end side beam and the intermediate beam, and the coupling point of the distal end side beam and the intermediate beam, so that an intermediate beam longitudinal line connecting the center point of the proximal end portion and the center point of the distal end portion of the intermediate beam strides the virtual straight line. Preferably, the coupling point of the proximal end side beam and the intermediate beam is positioned outside of the virtual straight line in a suspension width direction, and the coupling point of the distal end side beam and the intermediate beam is positioned inside of the virtual straight line in a suspension width direction.
