PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alert a user so as to prevent an overload causing a failure from being applied to a load cell balance, and prevent the failure in the load cell balance before it occurs. SOLUTION: In the load cell balance with a load cell unit for outputting an electrical signal corresponding to the magnitude of a load of a to-be-weighed object placed on a placement section, the overload is warned if the magnitude of the load indicated by the electrical signal output from the load cell unit exceeds a preset threshold value.
