PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine piston which favorably guides fuel spray from an aspect of securement of the robustness of an engine against mass production, and at the same time, favorably suppresses discharge of unburned fuel. SOLUTION: The piston 53 is used for the engine 50 including a fuel injection valve 58 and performing stratified combustion, and includes a cavity 53a guiding the spray of the fuel injected by the fuel injection valve 58. In part opposed to the spray of the fuel in the engine 50 in part forming the edge of the cavity 53a, the cavity 53a includes a first portion 53aa arranged correspondingly to the spray of the fuel, which is positioned at both ends in a spreading direction in a plan view, and a second region 53ab extending in the extending direction of the central axis P of the fuel injection valve 58 from the first portion 53aa.
